Animation
and FX Artists: Vicky Jenson
In
1977, Vicky Jenson started here career as a visual artist at Hanna-Barbera
where she was a background artist. She later worked as a storyboard
artist for Marvel Productions, Disney Television, and Warner Bros.
In the mid
1980's, Jenson assisted Ralph Bakshi and John Kricfalusi in the
visual style development for both the "Mighty Mouse"
and "Ren & Stimpy" animated series. After working
as a storyboard artist in a number of live action features, Jenson
returned to the animation industry as the art director for Ferngully
in 1992.
Jenson made
her directoral debut with the 2001 animated hit Shrek.
She shared directing duties with Andrew
Adamson in that production.
