Shrek Wins Best Animated Feature Award From
Film Board While Shrek walked away with the best animation honors (beating Monsters, Inc. and several other animated movies) the Best Picture honor went to the live action Moulin Rouge. The board also put out its Top 10 of the year list. While no animated movies appeared in the list, the FX-filled A.I.: Artificial Intelligence was named the seventh best film of the year. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
was given special achievement recognition even though it didn't win any
awards and didn't appear in the Board's top 10 movies of the year list.
Fellowship of the Ring has earned rave reviews by several high-profile
critics. |
