Bill Mechanic Eyes Disney After Titan A.E. Failure

(by The former head of 20th Century Fox, Bill Mechanic, has struck a production deal with Disney for his new movie house, Pandemonium Films.

Mechanic resigned from 20th Century Fox after the disasterous performance of Titan A.E. in 2000, which he had strongly supported throughout the process.

Under the new deal, Disney will invest in 20 Pandemoniam Films productions. Like Disney's relationship with other companies (Spy Glass Entertainment's The Sixth Sense), Disney will receive credit as the distributor.
