Monsters,
Inc. Ice Cream Promotion
(by digitalmediafx.com) Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is introducing
some new ice cream flavors in honor of Monsters, Inc. The two
new flavors, which are available only for a limited time, include
Monsters, Inc. Cookies & Screams and Monsters DeLight.
Cookies &
Screams features rich and creamy chocolate ice cream, monster
cookies (shaped like Mike and Sulley, two of the monsters featured
in the film), and chocolaty pieces with crispy rice. Monsters
Delight features a combination of light vanilla ice cream, raspberry
filled chocolaty monster shapes and a raspberry swirl.
The flavors
are currently available now through January 2002.

Cartoon
Network Restores Popeye
(by digitalmediafx.com) The Cartoon Network has restored very
early versions of the Popeye cartoon series to begin reairing
beginning this coming Sunday, October 28. The series includes
some never before seen on TV Popeye theatrical shorts. The series
may have trouble finding a big audience, however, as the Cartoon
Network is airing it at the 1am time slot.
